I came up with this concept back in the winter of 2011 . It was just an evening tea session with a female colleague of mine and the weather was pretty pleasant (15 centigrade I guess ) . We could not help noticing more than a dozen couples just sitting and chit chatting . Some seemed to be doing more than just that . The female colleague then noticing that tells me 'wow winters are so amazing makes me wanna just fall in love all over again' . On hearing this my mind started wandering , I thought : all mammals have mating seasons , and humans are mammals then, why not? winter could be human mating season as I could not explain the couples everywhere with any other theory. This remained as a thought from then , until one fine day I came across this on 9gag :
This proved my theory!! Nine months after November-January i.e. July-September had the highest density of birthdays compared to the rest of the year!
Now , there may be bones of contention like it's summer in the southern hemisphere during that time , but try to think about this...around 80% of the population is located in the northern hemisphere and hence ; there's only one explanation : humans mate during the winters!!
